This course delves into the history and development of the Singapore media industry. It aims to cover the entire breadth of the industry, encompassing newspaper, television, radio, advertising, public relations and online industry. It is about stories around people and facts and the interpretation of those facts. Much of the background and data in this area, however, are either difficult if not impossible to locate. This course therefore has a high component of data gathering and research.
